Why Photosimile?

When organizations/individuals purchase a digital camera they feel empowered and believe they have all the tools they need to take great pictures for the web or business communication. They quickly discover, however, that lighting accounts for 90% of image quality.

Competition dictates that poor product shots yield poor sales results. The pictures below fully illustrate the common difficulties associated with product photography namely hot spots, shadows and inaccurate color.

1 - Photo taken with digital camera using a flash
2 - Photo taken in natural light with out using a flash
3 - Photo taken in Photosimile Digital Photography Studio

 1 Camera with flash

2 Camera with natural light      and shadow

 3 Camera with Photosimile
Taking a picture of a product using the flash usually leads to hot spots and unusable results.

Turning off the flash and taking product shots in natural light leads to discoloration and shadows that require significant image editing.

Using Photosimile eliminates hot spots and shadows producing optimal results time-after-time.

There are a lot of variables involved in creating an excellent image for publication. The right type of lights, the right intensity of light, the correct placement of light, the correct camera settings and the ability to edit images (when necessary) are just to name a few. The Photosimile studio and software create a consistent solution that eliminates many of the variables and makes it possible for a person with little or no photography experience to repeatedly take excellent shadow-free images worthy of publishing on a website, product catalog or business presentation.
